Instead of building one new European hyperscaler, we link existing national infrastructures together into a federated network. Think of initiatives like EURO-3C, which connects more than 70 organisations.

Data is not stored centrally, but remains with its owner. Only the necessary insights are shared securely, according to agreed standards.

Shared governance: working together through shared oversight, transparency and joint standards. Interoperability is central — not centralisation.

Sovereign AI-Grid as a federated node
SAIG is not a closed platform, but a federated node in this European network. Our CCM compute modules run on our own sovereign infrastructure and connect through open standards. Steward ownership guarantees that profit and control remain in service of the mission — not shareholder value. This is how we contribute to the EuroHPC AI Gigafactories programme (Article 12b) without creating a new dependency.
